Zaney Girl Chicken Cordon Bleu

Here’s a great recipe that’s easy to make and even easier to take to pot lucks or a friend’s house.

Ingredients:
1- bag of breakfast potatoes
2 cups of cooked chicken
2 cups of diced ham
1 1/2 cups of shredded Swiss cheese
1 cup of Monterey Jack/Colby Cheese
1 – 26 ounce can of cream of mushroom soup
1- 16 oz can of Durkee French fried onions

To Prepare:
In a large bowl, mix soup, chicken, ham, potatoes and Swiss cheese.
Pour into casserole pan and top with Monterey Jack/ Colby Cheese.

To Cook:
Dish can be prepared ahead of time and frozen to be used when needed.
Remove from freezer, leave pan covered with foil, let it thaw and then place in oven at 350 for one hour.
With 5 minutes of cooking time left, remove foil, sprinkle can of Durkee onions on top and finish baking until onions are golden brown.

ZTI & CF Praline Pecan French Toast

Zane Trace Inn & Craft Farm offer Praline Pecan French Toast as a new breakfast menu item. It’s a great addition!

1/3 c butter, melted
2 T maple syrup
3/4 c chopped pecans
4 large eggs, lightly beaten
1 c 2% milk

Cut 10 slices of bread. Reserve remaining bread for another use. Stir together brown sugar and next 2 ingredients. Pour into a lightly greased 13 x 9 baking dish. Sprinkle with chopped pecans. Whisk together eggs and next 4 ingredients. Arrange bread slices over pecans. Pour egg mixture over bread. Cover and chill at least 8 hours (we did it overnight). Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake bread 35 minutes or until golden brown. Serve immediately.

Zane Trace Inn & Craft Farm Visit Memories Expo 2011

Watch our latest video on Zaney Girl TV!
Listen to some of our customers and friends talk about why they like to come to the Memories Expo and to Karena Gibson from Offinger Mgmt as she explains why Memories Expo is so special to so many people.

We had a grand time at Memories Scrapbooking Expo 2011! This was our 5th year as a vendor at this wonderful scrapbooking, cardmaking, stamping, papercrafting shopping extravaganza. Well, that’s certainly a mouthful, isn’t it? And as Aimee so aptly put it, “It’s all about the STUFF!”

There were 49 vendors with all kinds of tools and supplies to drool over. Our long time friends Scrap-E-Doo and Dillon’s Laser Cut Designs were there. Creek Bank Creations had some cool tools in their booth. Happy Scrapper, Cord Camera’s Scrapbook Studio and Scrappin’ Outlet had very busy booths, too. Red Letter Journals, from Grove City, OH, had a big booth and sponsored the evening crop on Friday where 150 croppers got to play with paper all night long!

It was great seeing all of our friends and customers and meeting new ones. Can’t wait until next year!

Make your memories come to life…come stay with us!
