Back to School Special at the Craft Farm and Backwoods Festival!

PLUS Sept 14 – 16 is the Backwoods Festival at Thornville!!!!! Over 200 craft vendors converge on the woods just north of Somerset for a wonderful craft show. They offer amazing home made crafts of all kinds, scrumptious food, and loads of fun! More than 25000 people from all over the Midwest come to Thornville for this weekend craft show. Staying with us makes it a perfect get-away weekend! We have 9 spots open at Zane Trace Inn for a Weekend Escape for only $175 per person plus the Back to School Special Super Saver Weekend for only $800 at the Craft Farm.

July 17th at Zane Trace Inn from 6 – 9 pm. Chef Ken will show you how to make pizza. Cost $25 per person includes demonstration of making dough and pizzas, take home bag of pizza supplies, and enjoying pizza and drinks with friends. Minimum 6 people. Maximum 8 people. Zaney Girl & Crafty Girl Weekend Escape Packages include brunch on Saturday and Sunday plus dinner at the Clay Haus in Somerset on Saturday night for only $175 per person. Arrive at 5:00 pm on Friday and crop til you drop until 2:00 pm on Sunday. Valet service by the Zaney Guys is optional and provided for an additional fee.
Super Saver Weekend packages at Zane Trace Inn are $1200 for Friday from 5:00 pm until Sunday at 2:00 pm.
Super Saver Weekend packages at the Craft Farm are $900 for Friday from 5:00 pm until Sunday at 2:00 pm. We provide the space, you provide your own meals, snacks, drinks. It’s just like renting a beach house! Ladies, you can get away for a relaxing weekend for as little as $100 per person with the Super Saver Weekend package! Valet service by the Zaney Guys is optional and provided for an additional fee.

Winter at Zane Trace Inn & Craft Farm
We’re gearing up for a busy Winter retreat season here at Zane Trace Inn and Craft Farm. There are only a few dates left so make sure you check out our calendars and make your reservations quickly. Perry County is beautiful in the winter. Somerset is very picturesque with the steepled court house and historic buildings. And it’s great to get snowed in with Hometown Crafts And Scrapbooking right next door! This group had a blast “dashing thru the snow” to purchase some much needed supplies.

Zane Trace Inn & Craft Farm visited Adventures in Stamping Show
We had a great time in Akron on April 16 & 17 at the Adventures in Stamping Show. There were 50 vendors there that were selling and demonstrating the newest stamping techniques and products. We saw some familiar friends like Sure Cuts A Lot, Gary Burlin, Eyelet Outlet, and Stamps by Judith. We met some new friends that aren’t too far away from Somerset: 100 Proof Press and Stamp LaJolla.
Talk about a small world. MaryAnn and JP own Stamp LaJolla and guess where they are from: Ashville, OH, also our hometown. What’s even better, they had a Bison Stamp! Some of you may be wondering, “What does that have to do with anything?” Our sons, Cody & Tyler, attend Bethany College in Wheeling, WV. Yep–their mascot is a Bison!!!! I just had to get it! You can check out their website at www.stamplajolla.com. They had lots of cool stuff in their booth. JP hand makes their rubber stamps and they had some very interesting designs. Remember–stamping is not just for cards. You can use stamps in all your scrapbooking pages, too.
Cindy Petal is the owner and operator of the Adventures in Stamping Show. It’s been going on for 16 years and is held at the John Knight Center, close to the University of Akron. You can watch our video on Zaney Girl TV!
